MoonSale Testnet Quest: Win Up to $200 in BNB

What this is

MoonSale is opening its first testnet quest to invite hands-on testers ahead of broader mainnet adoption. Five participants will share a $500 BNB prize pool for testing the platform end-to-end and submitting useful feedback.

This guide walks every step from start to finish in under 15 minutes. Free to enter, runs entirely on BSC Testnet, no real BNB spent.

Before you start

You will need three things ready:

  1. A Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or any wallet that supports BSC)
  2. Free testnet BNB from a faucet (instructions in Step 3)
  3. A Twitter account at least 30 days old to submit your entry

That is it. No KYC, no registration, no payment.

Step 1: Follow and retweet the campaign post

Open Twitter and find the pinned campaign post on the @moonsaleapp profile.

  • Tag two builders in the comments who should also enter

This step is required. Submissions without a follow and retweet will not be reviewed.

Step 2: Add BSC Testnet to your wallet

If you have not used BSC Testnet before, add it to your wallet manually using these network details:

In MetaMask, click the network dropdown, select Add Network, then Add Network Manually and paste these values.

Step 3: Get free testnet BNB

You will need around 0.5 tBNB to complete the full quest (token deployment plus presale listing). Get free testnet BNB from these faucets:

Paste your wallet address, complete the captcha, and you will receive testnet BNB within one minute. If one faucet is rate-limited, try the other. You can claim from each once every 24 hours.

Step 4: Connect to MoonSale

  1. Open moonsale.app
  2. Click Connect Wallet in the top right
  3. Select your wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.)
  4. Confirm the connection in your wallet popup
  5. Make sure you are switched to BSC Testnet in your wallet

If you see a chain mismatch warning, switch your wallet network to BSC Testnet before continuing.

Step 5: Deploy your token using the Token Factory

This is where the quest officially begins.

  1. Go to moonsale.app/create-token
  2. Pick a token type. For most participants, Standard BEP-20 works fine. To test more features, try Liquidity Generator or Burnable.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Token name (be creative, this affects judging)
    • Symbol (3 to 5 letters)
    • Total supply (100M to 1B is normal)
    • Decimals (18 is standard)
  4. Click Deploy Token
  5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet (uses around 0.05 tBNB)
  6. Wait for confirmation (around 5 to 10 seconds on testnet)

Save your deployed token address. You will need it in the next step.

The platform will automatically verify your token's source code on BscScan testnet. You can confirm by clicking the explorer link after deployment.

Step 6: Create your presale or fair launch

You can choose either format. Both count for the quest.

For a presale (fixed price)

  1. Go to moonsale.app/create
  2. Paste your deployed token address from Step 5
  3. The form auto-fills your token name, symbol, and balance
  4. Configure these fields:
    • Token price in BNB
    • Soft cap and hard cap (in tBNB)
    • Minimum and maximum buy per wallet
    • Liquidity percent (51% or higher recommended)
    • Liquidity lock duration (try 365 days for the strongest trust signal)
    • Start and end date (must be at least 24 hours apart)
  5. Click Create Presale and confirm in wallet
  6. Pay the testnet listing fee (around 0.2 tBNB)

Your presale is live with a public URL.

For a fair launch (community-driven price)

  1. Go to moonsale.app/create-fair-launch
  2. Same flow as presale, but no fixed price
  3. Set softcap, allocation, and timeframe
  4. Deploy and pay listing fee

Copy your presale or fair launch URL. You will need it for your submission.

Step 7: Test the full flow (bonus points)

This is where high-quality submissions stand out. Test the platform end-to-end:

  • Open your presale page in an incognito window (simulates an investor view)
  • Try contributing test tBNB to your own presale from a second wallet, if you have one
  • Click around the platform: check the token lock, vesting, tokenomics creator, and token scanner
  • Note anything that breaks, looks confusing, or could be improved

Bug reports give you bonus points in the judging. The team would rather find issues now than after mainnet floods in.

Step 8: Submit your entry

Reply to the original campaign tweet with all of the following. Submissions under 50 words of feedback or missing any field will not be reviewed.

The deployer wallet you submit must match the wallet that deployed your token AND created your presale, both within the campaign window. We verify on chain, so don't try to submit someone else's deployment.

How winners are picked

Five winners are selected based on:

  • Quality of feedback (35%): useful, specific, actionable
  • Bugs reported or improvements suggested (25%): real bug reports get max points
  • Creativity of token concept and launch design (20%): original names, thoughtful tokenomics
  • Engagement on submission (10%): likes, comments, retweets from others (screenshots help)
  • Completion of full flow (10%): token deploy + presale created + flow tested

The team reviews every submission manually. Winners are announced 48 hours after the campaign deadline. All payouts post publicly with transaction hashes for transparency.

Sybil and farming protection

To keep this campaign fair, the following submissions will be disqualified automatically:

  • Twitter accounts under 30 days old
  • Wallets created on or after the campaign start date with no other on-chain history
  • Multiple submissions from the same Twitter handle, IP, or deployer wallet
  • Submissions where the deployer wallet does not match an actual token deployment in the campaign window
  • Copy-paste feedback that does not reference specific MoonSale features

We verify each submission on chain before it enters the judging pool. This typically takes 5 seconds per entry.

Quick FAQ

Can I submit multiple times from different wallets? No. One submission per Twitter handle. Multiple submissions will be disqualified, and any prize forfeited.

Do I need real BNB? No. The entire quest runs on BSC Testnet. Real BNB is never spent.

When are winners paid? Winners receive their BNB on BSC Mainnet within 72 hours of being announced. Transaction hashes will be posted publicly for transparency.

What happens to my testnet token after the quest? Nothing. Testnet tokens have no real value and exist only on the test network. They are useful for learning and testing but cannot be traded for real money.

Can I participate if I am new to crypto? Yes. This quest is designed for both beginners and experienced founders. New users often write the most useful feedback because they catch UX issues that experienced users miss.

What if I get stuck? Reply on the @moonsaleapp campaign tweet or join the official Telegram support. The team responds within a few hours.
